Description
During this pandemic artisans from different parts of Mexico have adapted to the times and to what is available to make face masks with some of their traditional vibrant embroideries. These masks were made by Nelmy and her family from Dzan, Yucatan. The textiles use are similar to those that they use to make their blouses, dress and the back layer is made of Pellon to serve as a filter. Each one is uniquely designed. For care, please hand wash them and use a little bit of vinegar to preserve the color.
